“ Had a delicious stop here during a bus tour! Fresh lobster which truly hit the spot with some lemon slices and melted butter. There was also a buffet type dining experience with some extras like mussels, soups and more. The staff were quick and friendly, accommodating a large bus tour group with ease and professionalism. But of course the main highlight was the delicious lobster! ”

“ Really good food. I ordered the bacalao miel and it was a new flavour but delicious. My husband's lobster poutine was also good. We shared as a starter some special seafood chowder and it was perfect for the rainy, cold day. Service was top notch. ”

“ Very cute restaurant, good food, good service and lots of seating. We got the lobster dinner (a lobster, salad, corn and bowl of mussels) and the fish and chips for approximately $75. Definitely worth it, the fish was okay, but the lobster meal was definitely a hit, the lobster was cooked perfectly, and the sides/starters were a nice addition. The server was very helpful, spoke with this gentleman over the phone and he answered all my questions, when we pulled up close to last call, the staff were lovely and very welcoming. The restaurant was over very clean, it is a very large restaurant with a nice washroom. Overall would recommend! *note lots of parking, outdoor and indoor seating available, big booths, ramp and open spaces in restaurants. ”

“ Wow! The BEST and freshest lobster meal around! Melt in your mouth and cooked to order! AND, we were the last official customers of the season! Adam was our server and he was AWESOME! He made the experience fantastic! Desiree was also serving us and she was awesome too! The Seafood Chowder was amazing! We went to another place after this one and it didn’t compare! Everything about our experience from service to food, was right on point! Exceeded our expectations! ”

“ First time customer and it was absolutely the best part of PEI! It was recommended by my family who visited this restaurant from Ottawa last summer and it lived up to my high expectation! Their seafood chowder is a must try. Best chowder I’ve ever had. It was super creamy and had lots of seafood in it whereas other restaurants have very watery and bland chowder. We ordered boiled and baked lobsters and they were so tender, juicy and seasoned perfectly. The corn was also in season so it was so juicy! We found PEI dishes to be quite bland but that wasn’t an issue here. Mussels were also quite big and fresh. I went to another famous seafood restaurant in PEI the other day and was very disappointed by their quality because Cavendish Lobster Shack food set a higher expectation for me. We also tried their Bacalao (I think) which is a Spanish dish made with fried fish with tomato sauce and it was delicious! The owners came by to explain the dish to us, which was very helpful. The fish was crispy but the tomato sauce added the softness to the dish. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It is a family owned restaurant so some of their kids were helping out over the summer as well. It is located super close to the Cavendish beach so it was convenient for us post-beach day. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family and will definitely come back again next time!! ”

“ My husband and I stopped by here for quick dinner while taking a break from the rides at Sandspit (next door). We wanted something quick to eat - but still yummy seafood - that we could get nearby and then return to the rides at Sandspit. This was the perfect choice! Our server, Maddy, was incredibly outgoing and friendly and made us feel super welcome, despite the fact that we came in 15 minutes before closing. My husband had the lobster roll and I had the lobster poutine. Both were incredible, but my husband rated the lobster roll as one of his “top 5 lobster rolls I’ve ever had!” because the lobster meat was diced up small (not chunky) so the flavour blended nicely with the creamy sauce. The fries in the poutine were perfectly crispy and delicious! Thanks again Maddy! We appreciated all the advice advice the island, as well. ”

“ Dined here with my family, a party of 6. We got the baked and steamed lobster, seafood chowder soup, lobster poutine and lobster roll! The baked and steamed lobster came with mussels, a side salad and corn. The mussels were so good! The seafood chowder was delicious! Totally would recommend this restaurant. I would definitely come back in a heart beat! ”

“ Very friendly service and a nice quaint feel to the restaurant. A bus tour came in while we were having dinner so it got quite busy but this did not affect our service at all. The lobster meal was delicious and came with salad, muscles, corn, and lobster for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a lobster dinner! ”
